Iron and Wine continues to dominate my iPod. Sam Beam’s patented whisper-like vocals soothe my soul on a cold, Chicago night.  His lyrics remind me of the country where I grew up and I often yearn to move back, or at least move away some place with horses, shepherds’ dogs and resurrection ferns. Oh – and Calexico is a badass in his own right.
